Is the American
Heart Association corrupt?
Do they take bribes from grain companies? Are they lying
about saturated fat and cholesterol?
I've had a few experts in this sub tell me that the AHA
is indeed involved in a grand conspiracy.
What are your thoughts?
The AHA sells the Heart Check stamp of approval to
food manufacturers, with yearly renewal fees.
Conagra, Quaker Oats, and Campbell Soups were all listed among the AHA's lifetime donors
of $1,000,000 or more in the AHA's 2012-2013 annual report.
"Corrupt" is a bit of a strong word. There
certainly is a conflict of interest there, however.
